Pro: Office Files

Office Files is a simple cloud storage location for Office Manager users. It is a safe, searchable, reliable place to store files for the intermediate and long term that may or may not become part of a Case in the future. 

To access your Office Files, click "Files" in your left-hand menu.

To upload files into your Office Files, click the "Upload" button at the top right of the page:

Then, select your files to upload. Uploading into Office Files is the same as uploading into a case; drag and drop the files into the uploader window, or click to find the files on your computer.

Once you select your files, you can choose a folder destination if needed, and then click "Upload."

Files uploaded into Office Files will not be processed in any way until they are moved into a Case. So while there will be no wait time for “uploading” when moving files from Incoming Files into a Case, videos will still need to be processed. Additionally, files in your Office Files list will not be viewable or downloadable until they are moved to a case.

To move your files into a case, select the files you want to move by clicking the check boxes on the left side of each file. Then, click "Move" in the top right corner.

This will show a searchable list of existing cases for you to choose from. Select the case you want to move your selected Office Files into, and then click "Next."

On the next screen, you can decide the file settings just the same way they would on a typical file upload; determining the settings for transcription, language, labels, and folder location.

After selecting the settings the files will begin to process in the case that you selected.

Once office files are moved into a Case, they are no longer found or shown in the Office Files list table, as they have been permanently moved into a Case, where the single copy of that file now exists.
