Pro: How to transfer a single case

Transferring cases allows you to assign custodianship of a case to a new user, who will then be responsible for managing the case and sharing it with other users. 

To transfer a case, select "cases from the left hand menu, and Go to the 'My Cases' tab at the top of the screen. Then select Transfer from the 3-dot menu on the Case card.

The 'Select New Custodian' window will pop up, search for the person to whom you would like to transfer custodianship. 

If you want to still have access to this case in your 'shared with me' tab, keep the box checked to 'Share this case with the current custodian.'

You will be asked to confirm the action by typing TRANSFER into the provided field.

Then, click Confirm.

Transfer complete! The new custodian will receive an email notifying them that a case has been transferred to them, and can be accessed under 'My Cases.'

If 'Share this case with the current custodian' was checked, the case will now appear in the 'Shared With Me' tab of the previous custodian
