Pro: Automatic share permissions for uploader users

When a user with the "uploader" user role uploads evidence to "incoming files," There are two user permissions that can be turned on that will allow cases to be shared with that user, as well as automatically share the evidence that they've uploaded once it is moved into a case. This will also allow the uploader to upload additional evidence into the case that was automatically shared with them.

These user permissions can be turned on by Prosecution Manager users.

To enable these user permissions, click "Users & Groups" in the lefthand menu.

Find the "uploader" user you want to edit user permissions for, and click the pencil icon to the far right of their name.

Scroll down to the bottom of the user details screen, and find a user permission that says, "Allow users to share cases to this user."

Turning this user permission on will allow owners of cases to share their cases with that uploader, so that the uploader can access any shared evidence, or upload additional files to the case.

Once that user permission is turned on, a second user permission will appear that says, "Automatically share case after uploaded files are moved into a case."

Turning this second user permission on makes it so that once a Prosecution Manager moves that user's uploaded evidence from "Incoming Files" into a case, the case and the evidence will be automatically shared with that uploader for the default share duration that is set for your office.

Additionally, that uploader will automatically be able to upload additional evidence into the case that was shared with them. The uploader will only have the "upload" permission by default.

Any additional files that are in the case that the user did not upload will not be automatically shared.
