Center File Storage

Center Files is a premium feature that can be added to your Guardify account to store legacy interview files that you do not want to upload and store it with your active and archived interviews. These files can be stored long term and accessed all in one central location, and then moved into a Guardify Interview card if/when the case might be re-opened and the interview needs to be shared; just the same as any of your active interviews would be. Center Files can be accessed by CAC users through the "Center Files" option that will appear in the navigation menu.

Files are uploaded individually into the Center Files storage area, and can be sorted by name, file type, the date they were uploaded, or by the user that uploaded them. These files are searchable by partial or entire file name.

From the Center Files list, Files can be downloaded onto your computer if you need to access them locally, or they can be deleted completely out of the Center Files storage area if you no longer need to keep the file stored in Guardify.

If you have files stored in Center Files and you would like to share them in Guardify with other Guardify users, you can move these files into a pre-existing interview card that has already been created in your center.

If you want to move the interview files into a new interview card, you can create a new card from your "My Interviews" page, and fill out the interview details without adding any files to it, then go back to "Center interviews" and move the file. This can be done by selecting the files you want to upload into an interview card, and then clicking "Move" in the top right corner.

You can then search through your "My Interviews" or "CAC Interviews" lists for the interview that you would like to upload these selected files into.

Once you choose the interview you would like to upload your Center Files into, your files will be moved out of the Center Files tab, and upload directly into the interview that you chose.

Videos will be processed and viewable in the interview card, and any additional documents will show up as attachments in the interview that you chose.
