Interview Tags

The tag feature in Guardify allows users to create time stamps in an interview to be able to go back to a specific point in a video. This feature is accessible to the custodian of the interview, as well as any user that has had an interview shared with them with the "tags" share permission selected.

To create a tag in an interview, open the interview and press "play" on the video. The video play back does need to be loaded in order to be able to tag the video.

While the video is playing, click into the "Add Tag" box at the bottom of the tags list to the right of the video player. This will pause the video at that exact point, and allow you to type in a brief description of what is happening at that point in the video.

Note: If you know the exact time stamp of the tag you want to create, you can track directly to that point in the video and click pause, and then type your description into the "Add Tag" box on the right.

Once you have typed your description into the tag box, hit the enter key, and the settings for how you would like to save your tag will appear:

Private: this saves the tag for you only, and will only appear in your own list of tags

Group: You can choose a pre-made group to share this specific tag with

All permitted users: the tag will be visible to all users that this interview is shared with and also has the "tags" Share permission selected.

Once you have made your selection, click save, and your tag will now appear in your list of tags in chronological order.
