Request to Share with a New User

A user with the "interviewer" role is able to share interviews with existing users, as well as to request to share interviews with new users who do not already have accounts. These new user requests must be submitted for approval before the share will go through. Here is how to share an interview with a new user request.


After logging into Guardify, find the interview you want to share, and click "share" from the 3-dot menu or from within the interview screen.


From the share screen, click "add" at the top of the page if it does not automatically prompt you to select a user to share with. When it prompts you to select a user, click the "new user" radio button at the top of the screen.


Type in their email address, and then click "add."

It will then ask you to fill in their details. Along with their role, email address, you will need their first and last name, phone number, and the agency they work with.


Fill in those fields, and then click "add."


Once you have added the user, select the interview permissions that you want to share with that person on the row that appears beside their name. Each check box correlates with a different permission they can access for that specific interview.


Note: if you see a clock to the left of their name, this is indicating that they are pending approval.

Once you've selected the permissions you want to share, click "Save."

Once you select save, that new user request will go through to the Managers at the CAC to approve your new user request. Once the request is approved, the interview will be shared with that user.
